B.C. is asking the independent utilities commission to make recommendations to regulate the price of gas as it continues to set records.

    I used to respect McTeague on GasBuddy. Now he's like a shill for Big Oil. He's on the news telling us to expect an increase and Big Oil goes "oink, oink they're 10%, now re can increase it at 10%"

    And then mentions Russia as an excuse even though we don't use a drop of their oil...

    I never check gas buddy but when I searched for a comparison chart to prices across Canada it was the first thing to pop up.

    We had a good laugh last week when watching the news and some Conservative MP (can't remember which one) was wanking about gas prices under the Trudeau government and saying gas was $1.50/L. My bf said "Where is that cheap? Let's go gas up!" :lol: I guess that's what is was in Ottawa that day while it was over $1.70 here.

    And don't forget the double whammy. Rising gas prices gives an excuse to everybody else to raise their prices too. :(
