More than 12,000 without power on Vancouver Island

A little more than 12,000 customers are without power across Vancouver Island. According to BC Hydro’s website, as of 10:36 a.m. Saturday (Dec. 18), there are 51 outages affecting 6,246 customers in North Island and nine outages affecting 5,774 custo
