That's a new one, outside of Asia.

Part of the reason too is that the water treatment plant is offline. Princeton is in a bad way too.

Both bridges are out and a third is questionable. Water treatment made evac mandatory.

Absolutely horrible situation in Merritt. The footage is devastating.

A section of the Coquihalla highway has washed away as well just south of Merritt. As in gone... 8O

They are rescuing people from highway 7 by helicopter that have been stranded since yesterday.

An apparent unmoored barge has made landfall on Sunset Beach in Vancouver.

So much going on it's hard to keep track.

The crazy part is that the Lower Mainland is completely cutoff by land from the rest of Canada. Highways 1,3 ,5,7, and 99 are all closed. The only way out at the moment is through the US.

    Here's Highway 1 near Lytton.

    Highway 5

    Highway 99

That's gonna take a few rolls of duct tape.

That sucks for Lytton and Merrit, after suffering through the heat dome, fires and drought. Up where I am, north of Kamloops, we're getting light intermittent rain which is replenishing groundwater lost during the heat dome, so we got lucky this time.

So here’s the Trans Canada highway in Abbotsford. Now a canal.

What's in the yellow circle? I'm trying to place whereabouts this is.

You are in Abbotsford xerxes. Are you under evac?

The yellow circle is Castle Fun Park, a local amusement park. And I’m fine. I live in west Abby which is north of that picture. And that part is at a higher elevation. Pretty much all the low lying areas which are farmland are flooded. All of the farmland between Abbotsford and Chilliwack are under an evacuation order.
