Nobel Peace Prize awarded to journalists Ressa and Muratov

Journalists Maria Ressa of the Philippines and Dmitry Muratov of Russia won the 2021 Nobel Peace Prize on Friday for their fight for freedom of expression in countries where reporters have faced persistent attacks, harassment and even murder.

Interesting tie in; the money received by Gorbachev winning the Peace Prize went to start the news organization whos' editor won this latest Peace Prize.

An absurdly brave duo for whom no praise is too high. Ressa has been publicly threatened by the thuggish president of her country which is an accolade in itself.
