Anti-racist motion stalled by rodeo discussion in Alberta legislature

A motion condemning hateful and racist symbols in Alberta did not go up for a vote in the legislature Monday because the UCP government spent much of the allotted time discussing rodeo.

It's ironic that the UCP will ponder all day long about the things that will drive away business from Alberta - like Taxes and Taxes; but don't see that the spate of recent race and ethnic based attacks will do it far faster.
