About 380,000 public and private-sector workers will receive one-time payments of $1,200 for putting themselves at risk on the job during the COVID-19 pandemic.

    Shitty thing is I just got a payraise to $25.50. Going to try for it, because I literally got the raise last week.

    You should. Crappy pay, dangerous work in a pandemic. $1200 isn't enough. But it's better than nothing.
