Ikea is investigating claims that the wood it uses in many of its chairs was supplied by companies accused of illegally deforesting a habitat for endangered lynx and brown bears in Ukraine’s Carpathian mountains.
It would appear that Ikea has deforested Sweden and now must look far afield for the lumber to use in their cheap and crappy do it yourself shelving units and futon's.
But before I condemn such an environmentally friendly company for deforesting a large portion of a country I'll wait to hear what Greta has to say about this. Or, does she only dabble in the black arts of anti oil environmentalism?

This isn't even the first time Ikea has been accused of it. Old growth forests in Romania have been turned into lots of flat pack furniture for the student dorm and to crush children.
