Don't let Quebec and Ontario hold back other provinces

There have been 12 deaths in Edmonton (one million residents) and nearly 2,500 in Montreal (2.3 million). It makes no sense to treat those two cities the same, just as it makes no sense to treat different provinces or regions the same

Eastern Canada shouldn't treat Western Canada the same as Eastern Canada?

We can only assume they haven't been paying attention.

As reopening is the responsibility of the premiers it can't be credibly argued that anyone outside and particular provinces leadership is "holding them back". Certainly haven't seen the feds yelling at anyone about what they can or can't do. The feds suck, of course, but they really don't deserve either credit or blame for how a reopening goes as it's not their decision to make.

It would be interesting to see what caused the bigger death toll in Quebec which happened, I assume, from whatever social differences they have compared to English Canada. That being said I highly doubt there's anything politically responsible for it, except maybe for some tradition good ol' Quebec corruption involved in how badly their nursing homes got hit.
