In public shift, Kenney says Alberta has to go green over time

Wonder what made Kenney make such a sudden and dramatic shift. Someone blackmail him with photos of him and a dead hooker or something?

Maybe he got in a slap-fight with Ezra over something trivial and is disillusioned with the denier movement.

Preston Manning doesn't quite have the heft he used to in conservative circles anymore in part due to Ezra Levant's ripping on him over the need to go green. Manning's been talking about this for at least a decade-I know, because I was in the audience when he gave a speech in Cochrane about how Albertans need a "wake-up call" on the environment. Peter Lougheed was talking about the need to slow our oilsands growth too.

Levant is a serious drag on the Canadian conservative movement. It's gotten to the point where even one of my university buddies who was a major player in the campus Conservative club thinks Levant needs adult supervision, especially after the way Rebel Media nearly self-destructed.

Maybe Kenny's "over time" means 1,000 years?
