Footage shows three men grappling with the British woman and trying to put her in handcuffs on the island of Maafushi, in the Kaafu atoll, where bikinis are only permitted within holiday resorts.

    Any woman who's vain or stupid enough to wear a bikini while visiting a devout Muslim country is nothing more than an attention whore who's lucky that all they did was peoplehand her rather than giving her the usual treatment of stoning her to death in an open pit.

    Odd thing for her to say when she is being arrested. I kind of wonder if she did this just to draw attention to herself for money or for some sort of cause.

    The article does say that she was inebriated...

    ...and of course we don't know what happened before the arrest. Maybe she was warned a few times to change or cover up.
