After being named to the federal cabinet earlier this week, Natural Resources Minister Seamus O'Regan is in Calgary on Friday, meeting with Alberta's energy minister.

without repealing the legislation, I don't see how anything will be reconciled. It's pretty clear what the two bills (C-48 and C-69) are aimed at doing so talking is all nice but while they are still in place Alberta will continue to pursue a similar arrangement as Qc..

And I think your expectation that ANY party would consider proceeding without something extremely similar to those bills in this day and age is completely insane.

well once the current pipelines are turned off west and you start to freeze and the cost of gas increases exponentially, your attitude will soon change.
