    True, but the Border boys have to justify their salary, especially since
    all the Saudis came to America from Canada before 9/11.

    Increased border thickness only decreases economic growth. You can see that right now with tariffs. Eg: Why is home construction cost rising in the US? Softwood tariffs.

    Tariffs on Canadian Softwood imported to the US have been a thing since we started growing trees. ;) There was a 10 year period when they didn't increase in the mid 2000's, but have been added ever since.

    So the constant price increase in the mid 2000's was not do to tariff's. Didn't I just say that.
