A vegan in Western Australia who took her neighbours to the supreme court in a failed bid to stop them from using their barbecue has said she is considering further legal action.

"The court and the state's administrative tribunal both threw out Cilla Carden's complaints, who said that her neighbour's actions were deliberate."

I can't make up my mind as to whether I find the Vegan nuttiness, of late, irritating or amusing.

Does she go out to the back yard and inhale deeply when they are cutting the grass? She might start is she does.

Thing is, she’s probably right that they wafted the smells her way. Because I would. P

She seems to want to complain about everything. Not just the bbq but smoking and children playing basketball. How ever could you live with children playing basketball? I think I would get a smoker and invite all the neighbourhood kids to play in my yard. Oh and maybe play the Charlie Brown song a lot.

I wonder if I can bring my neighbour to court when he BBQ's carrots?

: Took me a while to realize why my spell-checker had problems with "carottes". :(

Thousands of Aussie meat eaters are planning to attend a mass community BBQ outside the home of a vegan woman who has been fighting neighbors over the smell of their outdoor cooking of meat and fish.

At the AGM for my strata this past January a resident tried to offer up "new business" by complaining about neighbors BBQing on their decks. Her idea was that anyone who wanted to BBQ their dinner should take their BBQ's to the central courtyard to do it. Like, that's pratical  . Roll your BBQ down a hall, into the elevator, through another hall, then out to the courtyard, cook and take it back in. Yeah... no. Shot down in an instant. She got onto strata council so it will be amusing as hell if it comes up again at the next AGM. If anyone near us BBQ's we just get hungry and try to guess what they are cookin'!
