Ethics Commissioner Mario Dion has found Prime Minister Justin Trudeau contravened the federal Conflict of Interest Act in relation to the SNC-Lavalin scandal. This is the second time Dion has found the prime minister has broken federal ethics laws.
ahh Liberals back to their old bag of corrupt tricks...now lets talk about gun control to divert attention from my corrupt government...right from the play book..
well, and lets be honest, there was not official ruling, in public opinion it didn't pass the smell test. JT was always saying lets wait and see what the report says...now he will just say 'they experienced it differently, lets talk about guns'

1) Will enough voters care at this point. This has been going on for a while now.
2) Is this enough of a scandal to cause harm to JT and or his party that come election time a massive change would happen? Probably not, Doug Ford has scared the shit out of would be Conservative Voters.
2. it should be but JT is on another massive spending spree, and he can up to the point he calls an election officially. So, in reality likely not. But I do foresee a minority for his government at best.
Conflict of Interest? What a friggin' load. Conflict of interest is when you take a free luxury vacation to a private island, all paid for by an entity that is doing business with the Govt of Canada. What Groper did with JWR and SNC was nothing short of attempting to obstruct justice. That's beyond mere conflict of interest.

This is a head line I'm seeing on my phone. " Canada's Trudeau accepts he breached ethics rules but refuses to apologize. " I've not read the article but says its from NBC News 5 hrs ago.

Not much here, just the odd mention, certainly not main news anymore.

Well Dopey breaks the ethics rules so often, it hardly qualifies as news anymore.
Interesting though, because before I absentmindedly did I was wondering if the story was worth posting. It's been so discussed to death.
But then I thought people forget too easy sometimes. Maybe they need to be reminded. Elections aren't that far away.

Isn't that bribery?
Like that makes it better.
(to nobody in particular) But the CBC is pro-Liberal, right?

Just an opinion piece, it's already dropped off the main news cycle.
I watched power and politics yesterday. Four people commenting, one saying it as it is, three defending Trudeau.
