Another peek behind the curtain showing how big corporations try to control what the public thinks and reads.
In the end, it's only big corporations who do.
I remember reading about a bunch of Silicon Valley bigshots who took a course on influencing people by showing them things that make them angry, at UC Berkley (?), who are now running Facebook and Google and Instagram . . .

Big corporations revenue depends on how the public perceives them. Take a look at some of the former brands that used to enjoy a good public image, like Kodak or General Electric, and see what they have become because of public perception and corporate rebranding. Buying those stocks, a person couldn't go wrong. Now I wouldn't buy anything with their name on it.
And who is it that has the most influence over people? The media. 100% of their revenue depends on public perception, which has led to the trend of link baiting and fake news. Remember that next time someone dis's the CBC.
I'd like to teach the world to frown.
Oh hell that's easy. Have them spend time with my ex wife.

Well some far-right governments like Ford, Kenney and Trump are but mostly it’s big corporations especially fossil fuel, mining and forestry, and big polluters and agribusiness, the usual villains.
