Israel moves to name Golan Heights settlement after Trump

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's Cabinet convened in the Golan Heights Sunday to inaugurate a settlement newly named after U.S. President Donald Trump in a gesture of appreciation for his recognition of Israeli sovereignty over the territory.

    I can see their appreciation to the U.S. for their recognition of Israeli sovereignty over the territory, but to name it after Trump is a bit much IMO!!

    Oooo I know. 4 out of over 500 businesses is just a terrible bankruptcy rate. Oh wait, I think it's up to 6 now. Based on 500 that's an unforgivable rate of around 0.012%.

    Yeah, compare that the national average in the US for new businesses.

Everybody conveniently forgets all the land Israel gave back to the countries that decided to quit fucking with them. And considering the mess Syria is right now and has been for the last decade, I'd be in NO hurry to give it back to them. It'll just turn into an Iranian front-line against Israel-proper.

    Only that’s not how international law works

    And considering the mess Syria is right now and has been for the last decade, I'd be in NO hurry to give it back to them. It'll just turn into an Iranian front-line against Israel-proper.


    What does that have to do with building civilian settlements for colonizers?
