North Korea fired several unidentified short-range projectiles into the sea off its eastern coast on Saturday, the South Korean Joint Chiefs of Staff said, a likely sign of Pyongyang's growing frustration at stalled diplomatic talks with Washington meant
The launches comes amid a diplomatic breakdown that has followed the failed summit earlier this year between President Donald Trump and Kim Jong Un over the North's pursuit of nuclear bombs that can accurately target the U.S. mainland. The North probably has viable shorter-range nuclear armed missiles, but it still needs more tests to perfect its longer-range weapons, according to outside analysts.
Trump said Saturday that he still believes a nuclear deal with North Korea will happen. He tweeted that Kim "fully realizes the great economic potential of North Korea, & will do nothing to interfere or end it."
Trump added: "He also knows that I am with him & does not want to break his promise to me. Deal will happen!"
Apparently the more things change the more they stay the same. Grandpa's benefactor was a Russian Dictator and now Little Kim appears to have gone the same route and dumped China for what he hopes will be a much more gullible sponsor.
My comment had a lot of "tongue-in-cheek" in it.
That's not fair.
I'm sure the USA has nuclear weapons that can target North Korea so why shouldn't North Korea have nuclear weapons that can target the USA... it's only fair.
The problem with that equation is that one of the countries you mentioned can hit what they aim for while, the other one couldn't find it's own ass on a dark night with both hands when it comes to targeting telemetry.
A fact which means things could end quite badly for people on Guam or, downtown Vancouver.
