    Here's the problem.

Say Naziism is a dangerous ideology and all you'll get are nods. Say Mohammedism is - as in following the dictates of the warlord Mohammed - and you'll hear about it. You're a racist. Those warning of it too publicly are damned by the Muslim Brotherhood invented word of "Islamophobic." They're deplatformed, depersoned and demonetized as a warning.

    And ISIS laughs.

We can be but they haven't done enough to provoke us to do that just yet.

I suspect that the sub-plot in Tom Kratman's 'Caliphate' is what it will take to stir the North American response.

And maybe not even then. :|

You can’t kill an ideology. There will always be more idiots to pick up the torch of extremism.

Didn't a certain orange-hued moron recently say that ISIS was "totally!" defeated, all thanks to him?

Not exactly. More like '100 percent of the caliphate in Syria - that is the area of land.'

I think there's still a small observer force to watch for possible stragglers, like these pathetic, ragtag, losers waiting final judgement in the camps.

ISIS still has a more clandestine, international presence, of course, but that wasn't what Trump was talking about. What he was talking about was impressive. Obama couldn't do it.

You mean the American military, in conjunction with allies, did it. All according to a plan drawn up by the Obama administration years ago, with the final result put into jeopardy of collapse thanks to the current POSPOTUS threatening to withdraw the American military presence altogether. "Not our problem! MAGA!".

The US military, in conjunction with the Syrians, the Russians, the Iranians, the Iraqis, the Turks, the Jordanians, and the Israelis defeated the Saudi sponsored ISIS.

I would not call that an 'alliance' but simply more of a concurrence of force.

And in return the Saudis got a trillion-dollar weaponry sale from the US and Iran got a ramp-up of all the bogus tropes about them in order to justify the upcoming American/Saudi/Israeli attack on them. Plus orange man gets to touch the magic orb whenever he visits Riyadh.

What a time to be alive! wOOt!
