But on the plus side, he's at least consistent in trying to remake Canada into his image by subverting every level of gov't that doesn't live up to his personal expectations of what the position should entail.
A question though. Why has it taken so long for all these so called "honourable" people to come forward to expose this charlatan for what he really is, a manipulative social justice warrior who's more intent on placating outside forces than taking care of the Canadians who he's responsible for?
Weird how JWR turned out to be just like Sessions, not all that good at her job.
It's remarkable though in that a PM probably doesn't usually reject a candidate suggested by their own SG/MOJ.
I havent read that its unusual. It is extremely unusual that the AG would recommend the new SC appointee also be made the Chief Justice. As I mentioned earlier today, only once, in 1908, has that ever happened. Every other time the Chief Justice has been chosen from experienced SC members
virtue signal so he could "brag" about having the first female AND FN AG in Canada's history, or was she genuinely genuinely qualified for the position?
And there is the truly fundamental flaw with all the gender diversity hiring
programs.
It actually hurts women.
Because you will never know if the woman was actually the best qualified person
for the position, or if she was hired on the v-card.
The government/company may not be getting the best people for the jobs.
A loss of respect for the woman in the position.
And all women will pay the price for it.
On top of that, the appointments usually reflect rewarding certain factions within the party for supporting the party leader
Funny how the same people who scream about gender quotas have no concerns about demanding a quota for appointees from their home province, as in Albertans are 15% of the population but only 7% of the cabinet! Ahhhhh!!!
Cabinet appointments are not really qualification-based
Nor are Liberal Prime Ministers.
In fact, the more stupid, the better.

I think the idiot standard applies to all political candidates.
