Conservative Leader Andrew Scheer said today he "didn't hear" a question about an infamous — and debunked — conspiracy theory connecting the Clinton Foundation to a child sex ring during a town hall event in Kitchener, Ont. last night.

I'm calling BS. He heard everything on both sides of the comment, but not that? No, he just didn't want to deal with it and alienate any of his worshippers.

Exactly. The best thing to do when your hear garbage like that is to ignore it and move on. Why make trouble for yourself by acknowledging the question?

The article says that the 'sex ring' was debunked and that's bullshit.

The Feds have reopened the investigation because the mishandling of the Epstein prosecution smacked of political influence.

Even the Washington Post is supporting the new investigation.

So this is not at all .

It says the pizzagate sex ring was debunked, which it was. You're referring to a different matter that happened in a different part of the country 10 years prior.

    also
The Department of Justice has opened an investigation into the secret deal, which was handled by Secretary of Labor Alex Acosta, who was U.S. Attorney in Miami at the time.

It is a different (!) sex-ring... one centered in Florida.

Let's just see where the new investigation goes. I say that because there's a significant concurrence between the list of names on both rings. It may even cause the investigation into the Clinton's involvement in a possible Haitian human trafficking ring to be re-examined.

And let's be clear here, Donald Trump had significant business ties to Epstein and to many of the people named as involved in the Pizzagate and Haiti issues.

If any of this proves that DJT was involved then I'll want that to be investigated and prosecuted, too.

I suspect that since the election of Trump the odds of a bozo eruption among Canadian conservatives have greatly increased given that far too many of them also believe in idiocy like Pizzagate, QAnon, Agenda21, and the rest of the insanity festering on the internet. Right-wingers across the entire planet now all firmly and completely believe in this kind of crap, it's not something that's isolated only among gullible and stupid Americans. At some point in the upcoming campaign I wouldn't be surprised at all if some Conservative candidate either falls for a question like the one that ambushed Scheer or makes a statement themselves (in public or in something dug up on Twitter, Facebook, or Reddit) that shows they're a complete conspiracist loon themselves:

    https://www.cbc.ca/news/politics/scheer ... -1.5048256

The Liberal government has pledged $20 million over five years to the Clinton Health Access Initiative, which is affiliated with the foundation.

According to the Global Affairs website, the money is helping the initiative improve access to sexual and reproductive health services for women and girls in Nigeria.

A quick tally of the numbers posted to the government's website shows the previous Conservative government, of which Scheer was a part, actually contributed more to the initiative.

Going back to 2013, the Harper government spent nearly $19 million to help the initiative deliver vaccinations, $14 million on diarrhea treatment and about $460,000 to a fund tuberculosis research project on miners in African countries.

So does this mean too that Stephen Harper was in the caves underneath Comet Ping Pong along with Hillary Clinton and the Podesta brothers holding the children down as they were raped? :?

Spokesperson Eleanore Catenaro also criticized Scheer for "sharing a stage" at the recent United We Roll protest with Faith Goldy, a former Rebel Media commentator who was let go from her job at Rebel Media after appearing on a podcast affiliated with the neo-Nazi website the Daily Stormer.

Says it all right there. The Tory leadership could be either too stupid or too unaware to really understand the danger of flirting with these kooks, even in the most minor manner. As incompetent as they've been as a government, the Liberal campaign machine is too organized and social-media savvy and they're not going to let these opportunities to nail the Conservatives slide whenever they're caught associating with the crazies. This could cost them the election because all it takes is one Tory incident with a conspiracist that lets Trudeau's disreputable gang of justice obstructonists to remain in power.

None of those links about Trump’s pedophile pal have anything to do with the made up and widely debunked pizzagate nutjob conspiracy theory

    Never forget:

Epstein likes to tell people that he's a loner, a man who's never touched alcohol or drugs, and one whose nightlife is far from energetic. And yet if you talk to Donald Trump, a different Epstein emerges. "I've known Jeff for fifteen years. Terrific guy,'' Trump booms from a speakerphone. "He's a lot of fun to be with. It is even said that he likes beautiful women as much as I do, and many of them are on the younger side. No doubt about it -- Jeffrey enjoys his social life."

    I also call BS here.

Some strange guy rambles on at a townhall plopping chunks of allegations and insinuations. Among them is something about Trudeau donating to the Clinton Foundation, something I couldn't make out from the video and something about child sacrifice.

Scheer selects the issue of Trudeau's misuse of funding and responds to it.

The CBC then insinuates that by not zeroing in on Pizzagate (a word that wasn't used in the question) he's supporting it and further insinuates through misinformation and an outright lie (he didn't share a platform with Faith Goldy, she was 2 football fields away from where he was speaking trolling antifa from a mobile platform) that he's a neo-nazi or at least supportive of neo-nazis.

This story was an innuendo reliant non-story if not fake news. It only serves to show how Trudeau's investment of taxpayer millions greasing the media machine was one of the few things he ever did that worked for him.

Although maybe not. Maybe some of us don't believe Scheer is a Pizzagate, Charlottesville, neo-Nazi and the CBC's insinuations he most likely is hasn't distracted us from the SNC Lavalin scandal.
