Alberta veterinarians vote to ban declawing, ear cropping, tail docking surgeries: ‘It’s inhumane’

Damnit just when I had saved enough to pierce my cat's ears and give her those sweet dangling cross earrings that Kiefer Sutherland had in "The Lost Boys".

Now they should really amp it up go after the breeders who've created and keep creating abominations in dog breeds that actually cause them pain and disfigurement.

I saw two shepherds yesterday and both of them had hind quarters that made them look like a wedge walking backwards. You could see the problems they had walking and it pissed me off to the max that eventually people will think that's what a Shepherd should look like.

Maybe I'm alot more pissed off by things like this than other people because, I had a Purebred Pom who, because of in breeding ended up with 2 rows of teeth one adult and one baby that had to be surgically removed, alopecia X, hip displaysia and finally congenetive heart failure which killed him.

So having "papers" for one of these Westminster Kennel Club wannabe type purebred dogs has now become a ticket for a life of suffering that makes tail docking and ear cropping look humane in comparison.
