Twitter trolls tried to stoke fears about pipelines and immigration in Canada, according to a CBC/Radio-Canada analysis of 9.6 million tweets from accounts linked to suspected foreign influence campaigns.
Kinda made yourself look silly there, chief. Trolls using your boy Ezra as their centerpiece are just as bad as the ones using the CBC. Even worse considering @EzraLevant and @TheRebelTV are essentially the same thing.
Whatever. If anything I've been the harshest one here on the commentariat that CBC lends itself to - I've said multiple times that they shouldn't allow comments because their reader section is as bad and poisonous as Twitter or YouTube, and the taxpayer shouldn't be funding a platform for that kind of nonsense. Other that that though, despite some of their despicable readership, CBC isn't providing a fake-news clearing house. It still means that in terms of combined raw numbers that, compared to CBC, Ezra Levant is the toxic Ground Zero for political trolling in Canada. He's now the Canadian version of Breitbart/Alex Jones/Drudge/Gateway he always wanted to be.
I always figured if you were using Twitter regularly you weren't using message boards.
I know I don't use Twitter.
We get those Russian trolls here from time to time but to suggest they have any influence would be a stretch.
I click them because it's fun to troll the trolls.
Talk about burying the lede… Twitter trolls stoked debates about immigrants and pipelines in Canada, data show
And then it turns out the CBC is the most retweeted source of these Twitter Trolls they're complaining get retweeted.
And now it appears that you want to defend them.
