It is curious that the New York Times is pointing its finger at Canada.

Perhaps the Americans don't make a business out of it the way they do in Richmond BC with birth tourism facilities like the ones described in the article.

    I just reread it.

    https://www.nytimes.com/2018/12/31/worl ... urism.html

They do make claims they suggest are specific to the lower mainland of BC and Canadian politics in general but they also say this:

At least 30 other countries, including Canada, Mexico and Brazil, grant automatic birthright citizenship. Others like Britain and Australia have tightened their laws by requiring that at least one parent be a citizen or permanent resident at the time of the child’s birth.

It's almost like they're hoping readers won't notice the USA could also be on that list. One would expect American readers to be interested in that little factoid.

Have you not seen JT's plans for the Canadian wall?

But I can't show you the plans for the "Top Secret" section. It's a giant open Archway with a big sign written in English, French and Somali - "BORDER JUMPERS THROUGH HERE."

When you go through Turdeau gives you a passport, and a bundle of money. If you're a terrorist he gives you 2 bundles of money.
