A newly discovered cave in a remote valley in British Columbia might be the country's largest. It was spotted in the northeastern area of Wells Gray Provincial Park by a helicopter crew conducting a caribou census.

    The people who first spotted the cave from the helicopter named it Sarlacc's Pit, because of its similarity to the lair of the sarlacc, a creature from Star Wars: Return of the Jedi.

    A formal naming of the cave will happen after consultations with First Nations, she said.

    All Canadians should have say in what the new cave should be called. FNs will have as much right to the naiming, but no more.

    Wells Gray Provincial Park is a bucket list kind of place, with glaciers, huge lakes, waterfalls and incredible scenery just about everywhere you go.
