Supposedly something from the guy's Twitter (unconfirmed):
Ian Long Retweeted @gracevictoriiaa · Nov 6 good morning girls and gays happy election day let’s get this Bitchass Republican Evangelical Asshole Dummies out of office please this has been a psa, please go vote today!!!!!!
EDIT: I've now confirmed that this is NOT the gunman.
I'm leaving this here just in case it should come up again.
Paul Joseph Watson tried to blame it on a fictitious Muslim then deleted the tweets he made when it turned out to be random insane white guy #35683. Once again, if you want the actual facts you wait a while for the real reporters to do the job, not go running to the right-wing extremist pseudo-media who are just trying to get lots of clicks to make money off of their malfeasance.
Six off-duty cops were at the place at the time of the shooting.
Sadly some of the victims of this shooting survived the Las Vegas shooting last year which also targeted country music fans who are largely conservative.
Not that this has anything to do with why the shooter chose this venue. Just sharing what I can observe so far.
Way more useful than toiletbowls full of thoughts and prayers, eh?
Why don't you guys get together and DO SOMETHING about the problem, mass shootings have become so common place that it's a national disgrace? Some people got so bent they think waving flags respects the victims? You put the flags at half mast, there's nothing to be proud of FFS.

It's too soon to even know what 'the problem' was in this case.
No it's absolutely clear to everyone what it is. But continue on with the 'left' and 'right' shit, it's the USA not Canada. Hopefully we can remain sane enough to look at a shitload of trees and know it's a forest.

Well lets see here, you scorn those who would send thoughts and prayers. A sign of caring and offer of comfort. And in return DEMAND that something be done. What exactly that viable something is you do not state. You then go off on people showing support for the victims by carrying of the Flag of the USA. You say these people are bent yet you are the one who seems all bent. Ranting at others, spewing your disgust towards people's acts and words of support. So who is fostering further hate here those who send their thoughts and prayers, those showing support for the victims via the Flag or you with all the bile you spread about those same people and their actions.
I do not know much about the shooter but what I am seeing of the victims and survivors indicates that they're mostly conservatives.
Political affiliation is irrelevant. Horrors like this cut across all political persuasions in the US.
I am wondering if the guy had some issue with the club it's self. Seen an interview of someone who was there saying that the guy shot the cashier then headed for the office area of the club first. Kind of sounded like he had some sort of plan... possible revenge. Just an semi informed opinion not saying this is what it was just a possibility.

One Hispanic kid in the media is wearing a "Reagan/Bush" t-shirt. He's pictured here but was also interviewed on CNN this morning.

Friends of the victims are waving US flags.

Maybe the gun that was used needed some comforting for the trauma it went through.

Usual toiletbowl full of thoughts and prayers
Just like your usual bitter, hateful Rants?
