Rachel Notley finds Jason Kenney's actions during India trip 'amusing'

While some of Alberta's cabinet raised concerns about United Conservative Party Leader Jason Kenney's trip to India, Premier Rachel Notley is taking a tongue-in-cheek tack.

Kenney also appeared to reverse himself on a core criticism of Notley's government. He has said that Alberta's tax system, particularly the carbon tax, is counterproductive and undermining investment, but in India he told a TV reporter that Alberta is a prime spot for investment because of many factors, including low taxes.

    Jason Kenney: Not even once.

Jason Kenney is the wrong person to move Alberta forward in the right direction and if he wins it will be the same reason Rachel Notley won in 2015.

It's gonna be an amusing election, and even more amusing if/when Kenney wins. Wonder which one of the rapturist Lake of Fire dopes will end up in charge of the education department? :?

Kenney is a terrible, terrible choice for the UCP party. Regression here we come!

I dread the thought of Kenney winning, but at the same time, I don't want Notley running the province any longer either.

I had hopes that the Alberta Party could sneak up the middle and be kingmakers like the Green Party is in BC, but I'm not convinced that Mandel is the best choice for that party either.

Next year's election is going to take some serious thought and research to figure out who I'm going to vote for.

Repeat what the Americans did in their last major election - find out which one of the candidate is the absolutely worst possible person that can be found on the entire planet and then vote them in just to see what happens. Like our pals at Daily Stormer and the various hentai & scat-film Chan sites would say, just do it for the lulz.

I shall vote for a Separatist party just to watch the province burn. Then I'll regret everything, should they actually win...

I tried that once... it didn't work.

Actually, the party won, but no separation.

Well that was more because of the lack of resolve of the others.

I'd vote for them too, but they didn't run in Alberta. :(

"Be careful what you wish for!" I always said of them. They could swap space with the Newfies, so they could be closer to France. ;)

I figure that we actually got a pretty good government in 1976... even though the Québec anglos would disagree.

You are actually right. My cousin went to a French only school, K-12. Her dad was a University Administrator, and only spoke English. For the longest time they couldn't communicate. (Divorced, lived with her mother)
