Fall patterns expected earlier than normal this year, according to Environment Canada. A hot Thursday afternoon marked one of the final sunny days Vancouverites will enjoy before a cold weather system sweeps over the region.

    Short but sweet.

I see at least a few sockey salmon made it through those few hot weeks to land on ice in Superstore.

So CBC can relax. Doesn't look like their "Summer from Hell" is going to kick off the next great extinction after all.

Hope we don't get another 'winter that refuses to end' like last year.
