The founder of One Grand Gallery in Portland, Oregon told KPTV-TV that he took down the controversial drawing after threats from Trump supporters and a request from his landlord.

What a fucking asshole. This isn't art it's a provocation plain and simple.

It would appear the the author of this less than subtle "artistic" threat is okay advocating for the beheading of a standing President but, get's quite upset when the same despicable standards are applied to them.

This not art in any way shape or form. He is showing a very ugly violent display and is amazed and angry that some people reacted in the same he projected.

This is not a legitamte political statement, if some individual did this with Barack Obama would he consider that "art", or would he concider that to be exactly what this is an ugly violent disgusting action.

    Correct.
The owner is intentionally trying to provoke vandalism so that he may cash in on insurance and then declare bankruptcy. Stay tuned.

Only a failing gallery with shitty art would post such a display. This is how low these artsy-fartsy demons will go to make a buck.

The author needs to make a buck too.

I love it when people deride another's right to free speech, but chafe at limits to their own. <3

If the gallery owner and the public put up a picture of Obama being lynched by a bunch of white people then I guess I'll remain silent about pictures of Trump being killed.

Meanwhile, right-wing extremists celebrate destroying the career of anti-Trump Guardians of the Galaxy director over ancient tweets he made that were clearly just bad jokes:

THE TOLERANT RIGHT! Ah, that freedom of speech thing. Tasty!

PS: both Posobiec and Cernovich were instrumental in nearly getting a restaurant full of people gunned down at Comet PingPong due to their part in promoting the "caves full of peophiles" conspiracy insanity.

Disney, which is run by decidedly pro-Democrat, pro-gay, and anti-Trump individuals were the ones who fired Mr. Gunn.

Speaking for myself, I continue to object to this unjust practice of judging people in the present for things they said in the past that were not career-ending events when those things were said.

Pus-Bag Posobiec & th-th-th-Thernovich though, a pair of pro-Trump alt-Reichers, were the ones who made such a stink over the old Gunn tweets forcing Disney to react. Not that it excuses the bosses at Disney, considering that they're a company founded by and named after a man who was actively hoping Hitler would succeed in killing all the Jews.

Typical left with Gunn though, eating their own for the sake of purity no matter how irrelevant and stupid the things he joked about are. If it had been a right-winger they'd just shrug it off and say "get used to it, snowflakes" just like they do with Trump, Roy Moore, and a million other of the actual villains in their menagerie that spew horrible things. Which, unlike Gunn, they're usually serious about and not joking at all.

Well, boo on Disney for being manipulated by a couple of media hacks and a double curse on the two of them for doing this.

What Gunn said all those years ago wasn't exactly funny...even then...but he doesn't deserve to have his career destroyed over them.

I sincerely hope that Disney relents and comes to their senses about this and rehires the man.

Doubtful, even if Gunn made them over a billion dollars with the two GOTG films and showed that the lesser Marvel characters can make a huge contribution to the Marvel movie universe. That's because purging the impure from the community is as much of an important station of the cross for the left now as it is for the right.

It's still wrong no matter who does it and it's wrong no matter who is on the receiving end of it.

What's right or wrong doesn't seem to matter very much anymore anywhere these days.
