The old bullshit "Privacy Concerns" excuse to cover up ballot stuffing. I hope voters are paying attention to who to elect and protect their democracy! The UCP seems to be the fringe of the Wildrose combined with the 'old boys club' from the PCs.

Sadly they will be elected next year, and return to the old ways of nepotism and cronyism. Not saying the NDP have been perfect, but they've tried to get the infrastructure that Alberta's needs built, and tried to ensure the workers got their fair shake. I'm dreading a Kenney government.

I hear you man. The NDP are flawed, but they still tried to give farm workers the same rights as in the rest of Canada, and were derided for it.

Kenney has already stated through policy that many minorities are fair game, starting with the LGBT.

I'd be all about a Stephen Mandel Government. But that is unlikely.

It's always shocked me how stupid conservative parties are. Promote fiscal responsibility and not being a dick head to random groups for no reason and you'd be elected far more than you are now. Pander to groups of people that the vast majority of people don't like? People move away from you. (This for liberals too. Distance yourself from BLM) It's just going to get worse as the majority of voters aren't boomers. They need to start actually shifting their social policies to be in line with the population. 74% of people are in favour of gay marriage, and it's just going to keep growing. There is no other party available to support this garbage, so at the end of the day who are the religious right going to vote for?

Modern political parties are akin to the Titanic, too small of a rudder to turn the ship and the hull is too brittle to withstand the ice. Most parties need to be broken up and rebuilt to be more in line with modern issues and practices.

The longer it takes for this to happen the more "out of touch" they will be with the growing younger generations.

Even with this, and with the bozo eruption over the weekend from the other UCP guy who wants to Dachau all the local Muslims, they're still going to win. That's because this province is psychotically obsessed with the belief that the NDP are the only ones responsible for the oil price collapse the Saudis triggered back in 2014. Facts don't matter here any more than they do in the US or in any other place on this planet these days.

The UCP is going to win the same reason the NDP won, a vote out of anger. Meanwhile the Oil Sands are Evil or something.

But the NDP caucus scored a political hit on the UCP Monday with a news release raising concerns about a Feb. 23 banquet hosted by Gill that he expensed to the legislative assembly for $7,245.

In a video posted on Facebook from the event, Kenney asks those in attendance to help defeat the NDP government and take part in the UCP’s founding convention and candidate nomination processes.

Kenney tweeted the next day that the event was for UCP supporters.
