College student sues woman over false rape allegation

Catherine Reddington, 22, has claimed repeatedly via social media that Alex Goldman raped her following a party in April last year at Syracuse University in upstate New York.

Why not. This is a about as serious of an accusation as you can get and if this a false and destroyed his life then she needs to be held accountable. Why is there even a question about this?

I see no issue with penalizing people who make demonstrably false accusations.
