The unions don't care... as long as they're collecting union dues and keeping up the appearance their main preoccupation is protection the workers.
Exactly. But in Europe, Unions train and test their members so when an employer comes to the Union and asks for a person for a job, they know they get a qualified person for the job. The way a Union is supposed to function.
