The number of jobs in Canada fell by 88,000 in January to give the labour market its steepest one-month drop in nine years, Statistics Canada said Friday.
You can’t trust Christmas. It’s a holiday celebrating an old man who spies on children for an entire year before breaking into their homes while they sleep. Also he runs a sweatshop, and never changes his clothes
The mine is down in Jan over lack of water. The ski hill's only part running, too cold most days. Everyone got their snowies, tire shop's got some short term layoffs. Sears is totally gone in Jan. Everyone's broke from Xmas, not buying. All the Xmas extras from the stores are filing for EI WTF do you expect, it's January!

Again did you not see what I posted about U.S job numbers? They overachieved by 12% or so, we were expected to gain 10k and LOST 90k.
You know who to blame...
How is it that Canada always has this volatility in the workforce?
You know who to blame...

Oh, so Canada loses 90,000 while expected to gain 10,000. While American economy was expected to gain 180,000 in January but gained 200,000.
Do Americans not celebrate Christmas?
Bottom line. Canada is in trouble, and have been for at least a decade. With NAFTA on the table, this could become a slaughter.
Not to worry though, police budgets from coast to coast, and the mighty Barn Burning, back stabbing RCMP will be safe and secure.

But not in California where the state's legislators are right out front scheming to steal the extra money from business.
