Three Oxfam employees were allowed to resign and four were sacked for gross misconduct after an internal investigation found some workers had used prostitutes in the war-torn region.

    How old were the alleged prostitutes?

    I'm going to jump out here and say that if the alleged prostitutes were under 18 then they were victims of sex slavery and sex trafficking.

    Knight was detained as part of a Guatemalan probe into a public bus company
    He was brought to court alongside former president Alvaro Colom on Tuesday
    Comes after senior Oxfam aid workers in Haiti were found to have paid victims of the earthquake for sex in a 'full-on Caligula orgy' in 2011

    Some of the girls were said to be aged under 16. Prostitution is illegal in Haiti, as is having sex with someone under the age of 18.

    Peter Newell was a leading children's rights campaigner who worked for UNICEF
    The 77-year-old, from London, led the UK's anti smacking campaign in a long and distinguished career
    Newell also helped prepare UNICEF's Implementation Handbook for the Convention on the Rights of the Child
    But now he is facing six years and eight months in jail for the abuse of a young boy
    The 'horrific' sexual assaults took place over a three-year period in the 1960s
    A UNICEF spokesman said today: 'We are deeply shocked to hear of the arrest of Peter Newell.'
    He was convicted at Blackfriars Crown Court and has been put on the sex offenders register
