You will never hear a peep from leftists about how this is inhumane.

Really? So why is it the 'righties' are big meat eaters, and 'lefties' are the vegetarians?

And if you don't think this, and far worse happens in every slaughterhouse, you are mistaken.

How can it be fake, if it's on video actually happening?

Do your posts somehow seem reasonable in your own head, before you commit them to words?

It's not news? But you (and I) wrote that people don't know it's going on in all slaughterhouses? How is that not news, if people don't know? How is it fake, if it was caught on video?

How does anything you write make any sense?

    Islam is as Islam does.

In fairness, I'd also ban kosher slaughter as being needlessly cruel.

If it’s true it’s not fake news. It’s that simple.

But when this happens in non-Muslim slaughterhouses as it so routinely does, it’s an isolated incident that in no way reflects on judeo-christian society

In fairness, I’d also ban a host of cruel slaughterhouse practices that would probably effectively end kosher/ halal slaughter.

In fairness, I've seen far worse in a regular slaughterhouse.

And pretty much all animals are slaughtered 'halal' now. Gone are the old days when I worked there, when an animal could be given a terrifying walk up to the guy who would give them a quick death. Now they have to linger afterwards, knowing what is coming and being unable to do anything about it. Feeling every drop of blood drain from them . . .

That's why I eat mostly vegetables. The more people know about where meat comes from, the less they want to be responsible for the way animals are treated in order to get meat.

Excuse me, but that 'judeo-christian' society is the same society that instilled in both of us the notion to object to senseless cruelty.

Which is why these acts are prosecuted in our society and they are why these acts are not prosecuted in Islam.

    ^^^

It's also modern society that tells us to applaud when dogs are 'rescued' from Korean meat markets, but chide SJWs when they 'rescue' chickens from a North American poultry farm.

Because doggies are 'cute' and chickens are 'food'.

Keep in mind I have had a pet chicken for the past ten years.

I know. And you have a Nenday Conure, same as I do. It's one of the qualities I like most about you; that you take in strays, regardless of genus and species. :)

And you'd also be uniquely qualified to say whether you thought chickens were any more or less intelligent or emotionally diverse than dogs. My Nenday isn't that bright, but he is a very emotionally based animal. He feels, he likes and dislikes, he gets lonely and he gets happy.

Which is why I can't eat chicken too often. And it has to be free range - actual range - not just a large barn they can walk around it.
