Some areas on western Vancouver Island may see winds up to 100 km/h. The winds will spread to metro Vancouver, the Gulf islands and Victoria overnight but are expected to ease Sunday morning.
They called this one right, it's been blowing like a SOB for the last few hours, lights have flickered a couple times but so far so good. There will definitely be major power outages right through the Lower Mainland.
This fricking wind just does not want to let up......it's been wailing now for over 10 hours yet the forecast is for it to diminish this morning......only to have thunder storms move in this afternoon!
