This takes money and resources away, in a police agency that already creates threats and chases rabbits. This could have impacted others who wouldnt have resources needed for a real crime.
Hate to say but a distressing number of these 'attacks' on Muslims tend to be hoaxes that were the invention of the supposed victim.

Who is responsible for this?
