Danault released from hospital, resting at home

MONTREAL -- Montreal Canadiens forward Phillip Danault was recovering in a hospital after sustaining a head injury against the Boston Bruins at Bell Centre on Saturday.

I'm glad he's ok. We were watching the game at the time and that was a scary moment when he went down and at first was not moving.

I couldn't imagine the pain from a Chara slapshot, he was lucky his head wasn't tore off!

Good to hear he's okay.

Chara has what must be the fastest slap shot in the League, well over 100 mph, getting hit by 6oz of puck traveling that fast could very easily be deadly, helmet or not. I hope Danault doesn't have any lasting injuries from it.
