Canadian Unemployment Reaches 40-Year Low

The unemployment rate fell to its lowest level in more than 40 years as Canada closed out a calendar year that saw it produce jobs at a pace not seen since 2002.

How is this possible I thought with Trudeau, Wynne and Notley in power they were going to destroy the economy not smash decades-old records for employment and job growth. Can someone explain?

I was told Alberta was a 'have not' province, despite the jobs growth. Was I misinformed?

Misinformed like we were? Took a trip to southern Alberta late last summer and had a hell of a time when all the rooms were all booked at most motels, the prices were $20-$30 a night more than in BC and every time we dined, the restaurants had more customers than any around here!
