An expansion of powers granted to U.S. officials by Canada's federal government put workers and travellers at risk, according to protesters and the B.C. Civil Liberties Association.

    mixed emotions about this one. aruba has this preclearance program. it works good for me as i do not have to worry about missing connecting flights in the states as i have already cleared us customs and immigration in aruba. i have missed connecting flights coming back from other countries as the lines at customs get pretty long.

    allowing a foreign government to set up shop in your country is always a slippery slope. kind of surprised that we did not hear a lot more about this law before it passed.

    Non-USAcorp citizens do not have a right to enter the USA at will.
