Ohio calls off the execution of a man who killed a teenager in a carjacking two decades ago, and who now has multiple health problems, because members of the execution team were unable to find a vein to insert an IV carrying the lethal drugs.

    What about a venous cutdown?

Giving the order to shoot at your own firing squad is kinda neat:

FFS why is the gov't fucking around with mixing chemicals to kill these animals when the solution is staring them right in the face every day in the newspapers and obituaries.

Can't find a vein, just give them an East End cocktail. An oral dose of heroin with an extra serving of fentanyl. No muss no fuss they just quietly and quickly pass on when everything shuts down.

The cost is negligible to the taxpayers and it's one hell of alot more humane than stuffing needles in their arms or trying to purchase a conglomeration of chemicals that are becoming harder and harder to find.

The cost doesn't seem to be a concern. Otherwise 20 years and endless appeals.
What's important: the State MUST KILL

In this day and age a solution like that would, more than likely, be determined in the law courts to be causing cruel and unusual pain and suffering.
