Quebec's Justice Minister Stéphanie Vallée (pictured left) said the national Assembly has passed a law banning the burqa for citizens who choose to use public services.

    Some real supergeniuses in Quebec. It’s a religious neutrality law that does nothing of the sort.

    It's more of a statement than anything else. It's also likely being done to appease the rising right-wing sentiments that are sweeping the West right now.

    I remember seeing a lot of Italian women in Montreal in the 60s and 70s wearing veils and head coverings... so they'd be outlaws today too. :lol:
