Well, the original trial was a travesty but I thought the sentence in round two was a little OTT.

Everyone knows that the second sentence was payback for what happened (or did NOT happen) in round one. California dropped the ball (like they typically do when a celebrity is involved). A lot of people were pissed. O.J. would have received a severely stiff sentence if he had been convicted of jaywalking. Rumor has it that all the victims that were advocating for his release at his last hearing stand to gain financially when he is released. People that have won judgments against him have not received a dime. He is looking at a big payday for signing off for a movie deal that is already in the works. The Victims can finally be paid, but O.J. had to be released first.

Perhaps he will do something stupid again and wind up in jail again where he belongs.

Unless they slapped the smug, self entitled, asshole part out of his personality in prison I'd venture a guess that you might just be right.

He orchestrated an armed robbery. Nine years is about right for that crime.

Now that he's out I hope he behaves himself.
