After four years of careful cultivation, Antonio Zullo's banana plant has flowered and developed fruit. He says it's because of climate change and a tree expert doesn't disagree.

    Incredible!

I've managed to grow a couple small Habeneros, and even have a few teeny Bhut Joikas peeking out from under leaves! I had to put them in a small greenhouse to ripen, but it's the first year that those peppers grew. Bumper crop too of Jalapenos, Spanish Red Chiles, Cayenne and Serenno Chiles.

Life is too short for bland food. ;)

This is kind of funny. Sacramento is not supposed to be a good place for bananas but our next door neighbor managed to get a nice little grove of Cavendish growing and I literally just had one for breakfast! Probably the best fucking banana I've ever had! It was perfectly ripe, the flesh was firm, and the sweetness and banana flavor were off the charts!

I hope this guy in Vancouver has the same success with his crop! R=UP

I remember visiting family in Bermuda, and picking a grapefruit off the tree in their yard for breakfast. Nothing beats fruit right from the tree!
