The ruling came after a probe into his family's wealth following the 2015 Panama Papers dump linking Sharif's children to offshore companies.

A slender sliver of good news for Pakistan, although Sharif wasn't the worst of the leaders which that unfortunate country has suffered under. Those judges are brave men, up there with the secular bloggers and defenders of Christians. Let's hope a corner has been turned and a little more light and freedom are coming.
