David Johnston broke royal protocol by not only touching the Queen but by holding her left elbow all the way down a flight of steps after a Canada 150 event in London

    He's lucky he wasn't around to try this 150 years ago...

    I don't see how anyone can defend an institution with stupid rules like this that go against everything democratic countries stand for. Time to relegate the monarchy to the museums, where it belongs.
