Won't regular crosswalks feel discriminated against?
In a way. People will be less likely to stop their vehicle in the middle of a rainbow crosswalk while turning right, as compared to a regular crosswalk. This might make the rainbow crosswalk feel singled out, because pedestrians will be safer in it.
