A team of scientists believe they have found evidence of human activity in North America that dates back 130,000 years ago — more than 100,000 years earlier than believed.
Highly doubtful that they were the ancestors of the current first nations peoples who are are homo sapien sapiens. It is possible that they were an earlier hominid, such as homo erectus, whose remains were found in China and other places in eastern Asia.
Current scientific belief is that Homo sapien sapiens didn't make it out of Africa until 75 000 years ago. They mixed with populations of Homo (sapien) neanderthalensis in Europe andwestern Asia.
There is a possibility that the hominids could also have been Denisovans too, an archaic homo sapien that was once viewed as a neanderthal, but found further east in the Altai mountains of Siberia.
Regardless of what is found, this goes to show our past is more complex than we originally thought.....and humans getting the hell put of Africa has been going on longer than we originally thought.

I though there were fossils dating us back 200,000 years? 130,000 years ago means it's entirely possible it could be homo sapiens. Or homo erectus.

Could be Denisovians too.
