An unknown number of Ontario residents find their lives in turmoil after having their driver’s licences arbitrarily suspended for offences as minor as the non-payment of a single parking ticket or for going faster than a posted speed limit.

None of that with our communist provincial system here. You just can't renew you license or your insurance until the tickets are paid up.

It's funny when people break the law and then complain because there are consequences.

What's more funny is Canada thinking somehow their communist tactics are going to lead to a vibrant, competitive economy.

Ah, why remark at all, let the slide into oblivion continue.

It always sucks for the snowflakes when the reality of being an adult arrives in full force with it's combat boots on. 8)

Remember that when NAFTA is renegotiated and a border tax is in place. Maybe Canada will actually be forced to be capitalists, rather than praying that other countries decide to manufacture and operate in our country.

So you've conceded defeat in this discussion and to try to save face you're ranting off in a completely different direction. 8O

I agree that people need to accept the consequences of their actions and pay any fines levied for breaking the law, but suspending someone's license without even notifying them isn't right either.

As Herbie noted, Ontario should do what most other provinces do - refuse registry services until all fines/fees are paid in full. If they did that, none of these people would have been impacted.

Didn't take long for the resident nut-job to show his colours.
