No, it's about giving the kids the space to be who they are. Letting them grow without the judgement, scorn and bullying that normally accompanies being of school age and being gay.
There used to be Band Clubs, Chess Clubs and I even remember Rocketry Clubs. Gay Straight Alliances are just another after school club.
But Jason Kenney isn't likely to require a note home to mommy and daddy when little Johnny joins the Badminton Club, just when he joins a GSA. That's how you get homeless teenagers. Do you want more homeless teenagers?
