I personally don't give a shit about the terminology people use to identify the atrocities the goat humping assholes are carrying out in the name of their religion but, I do have a problem with things like this.

The prime minister said the Liberal government has instead formally asked the UN Security Council to decide on whether calling it genocide is appropriate.

"We do not feel that politicians should be weighing in on this first and foremost," Trudeau said.

"Determinations of genocide need to be made in an objective, responsible way. That is exactly what we have formally requested the international authorities weigh in on."

So Canadian politicians are no longer supposed to weigh in on things like properly identifying the mass murder of specific groups unless the UN gives them their approval but, this party didn't seem to have a problem weighing in on what constitutes Islamophobia without it.

We don't know what genocide is but we're positive we know what Islamophobia is. ROTFL

I guess given the fact that he has to get the UN's approval before labeling genocide as genocide we can expect alot more participation by the UN when it comes to running the country.

This is just another phony ploy like the Conservative's ridiculous monument to the victims of communism which thank god was killed when they lost the election. ISIS kills/rapes/murders/enslaves plenty of Sunni Muslims too.

Conservatives need to start talking about real issues instead of trying to engineer these stupid "gotcha" traps.

What's next in the conservative playbook, a motion to condemn Hitler for assassinating JFK, just so they can accuse the Liberals of defending Hitler?

You haven't noticed there's no Fifty Shades of Grey for conservatives? They prefer It's All Black.

Damn right. The worlds a shitty place and not at all full of the rainbows and unicorns you think it is but, that's not the point. The problem is, who's making decisions for this country on the world stage.

    This guy:

    or, this guy:

and while I applaud the current Secratary General's current stance on Israel I still don't want him or his organization making decisions about what Canada calls things or does on the world stage and, if our current PM can't make those tough decisions without relying on an unelected, nepotistic, group of self appointed potentates to do it for him then, he should step aside and let someone with spine run the country.

I'd have respected him one hell of alot more had he said he didn't think we should call what ISIS was doing genocide instead of trying to weasel his way out of the obvious by using the UN as an excuse for not making a decision, either way.

I have yet to see your condemnation of the Holocaust.

You know, that crazy thing where one group killed a ton of others. Funny thing about that event. Even though those that were killing, killed many different types, creeds, religions, colours, etc, we only refer to it as a genocide because of how they treated one specific group.

Because ISIS is killing other muslims, it does not negate the fact they they are committing genocide against other groups in the region.

Thankfully, because those with power are having this PC crisis, we won't have to deal with some of the smaller sub sects from the region. There won't be any of them left to bitch about it.
